Wound care
King’s Daughters’ physical therapy provides innovative treatment for burns, pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and other traumatic wounds. We use advanced techniques like: ultrasound, electrical stimulation, pulsavac, whirlpool and specific dressings to promote fast wound healing. A collaborative effort by physical therapists, a wound-care nurse specialist and local doctors provide comprehensive wound care.
A wound care clinic is available to all appropriate patients. The wound care clinic provides a comprehensive approach to wound healing.
