Nutrition services
Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Patients receive several options for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. If a family member or friend wants to eat in a patient’s room they may go to the cafeteria, buy a meal, and bring it to the room. They can also have a tray delivered for a small charge.
Dining room
The Dining Room at King’s Daughters’ Hospital is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to eat in the Dining Room whenever it’s open. The dining room features several hot entrees each day, along with a salad bar for lunch and dinner. Beverages and snack items are also available.
Vending machines
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located near the dining room in the basement of the hospital. They are available 24 hours a day. Patients should check with the nurse prior to eating to be sure there aren’t restrictions.
